In further explaining the strides that the company has made in motor manufacturing, the magazine wrote that the manufacturer "now boasts of an arsenal of cars to make established conglomerates jealous. An underdog that wins best in the show? Humble Hyundai has come a long way.'

BBC Top Gear Magazine highlighted the manufacturer's variety of vehicles as one of the main factor driving the company's recent progress. It highlighted the company's dedication to diversity as one of the reasons that makes it a top motor manufacturing company in United Kingdom. The manufacturer offers the United Kingdom market access to SUVs, hatchbacks, hybrid cars, and pure electric cars, a variety that allows it to have an edge over other leading car manufacturers. In fact, many people now want to drive a car that offers more responsiveness to different situations, and the Korean firm has managed to do that through its many models. The manufacturer, for instance, is one of the companies that have a special focus on the production of eco-friendly cars that ensure zero emissions. Its cars come fitted with hydrogen-powered engines to ensure its emission of greenhouse gases is minimal.

After receiving the news, the company's UK president and chief executive officer Tony Whitehorn acknowledged the award and said that it was a testimony of the effort and work the company has put over the past decade. He went further to state that the company's total sales had increased over the years from just 28,000 vehicles sold in 2008 to an estimated sale of over 90,000 vehicles in 2018 across United Kingdom. He stated that customers are now impressed by the vehicle design, arguing that the manufacturer is now able to provide more reasons for the modern customers to purchase new car models from Hyundai. Mr. Tony Whitehorn revealed that in 2008, many car buyers across United Kingdom were purely driven by car prices but that has changed over the years. He said, 'In 2008, we sold just 28,000 vehicles in the UK and we were bought purely on price. Fast forward to 2018, we are one of the top ten car manufacturers in the UK and we will sell over 90,000 cars before the end of the year. The number one reason for purchase now is design.' He further stated that their brand continues to evolve over the years in response to customer needs and the company is proud that it is giving customers more freedom of choice as compared to the past.
